Withdrawals: from request to money in your bank
A withdrawal is where a casino relationship meets reality. A deposit takes one click; a withdrawal has several stages, and each can pause. This page describes the typical route — including if you are specifically looking into a Fenikss withdrawal. The operator sets the actual timings and limits; we explain the logic so you know what to expect and what to do when something sticks.
The set of methods and the limits depend on the operator and the account — check the cashier.
The route, step by step
Request
In the cashier you choose “Withdraw”, a method and an amount. The amount is reserved from your playing balance and the request gets its first status.
Review
The operator checks whether the account is verified, whether the name matches the bank account, whether a bonus with unmet wagering is active and whether the payout route matches the deposit route.
Approval
If all is well, the request is approved and handed to the payment route — a bank, a card scheme or a wallet.
Arrival
From here the timing belongs to the bank or wallet, not the casino. Transfers between banks can take longer than internal ones, and weekends stretch them.
Statuses and what they mean for you
| Status | What is happening | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| Pending | Queued, not yet reviewed | Nothing; do not cancel without a reason |
| Processing | Account and document checks | Watch your email — a document may be requested |
| Approved / Sent | Handed to the bank or wallet | Watch your bank or wallet |
| Rejected | Check failed; amount back on balance | Read the reason, fix it, request again |
| Cancelled | Cancelled by you or the system | Check the amount is back on your balance |
If you play from Latvia and the cashier is in Latvian, you may see „Gaida apstiprinājumu“ (pending), „Apstrādē“ (processing), „Nosūtīts“ (sent) and „Noraidīts“ (rejected).
First withdrawal and identity checks
Even if sign-up was easy, the first withdrawal is when operators usually ask for proof of identity — for Latvian residents an ID card (eID) or a passport. You may also be asked to prove that the bank account or card you are withdrawing to is yours, for example with a statement excerpt showing your name and IBAN. Upload documents right after registering and this stage will not hold up your first payout. Details on Registration and ID checks.
Common delay reasons and fixes
- Verification not finished. Missing upload, a blurry photo or an expired document. Fix: upload a clear, valid document and wait for approval.
- Name mismatch. Your account says “Grinberga”, your bank says “Grīnberga”. Trivial to a human, not to an automated check. Fix: ask support to correct the account to match your document.
- Different payout route. Deposit by card, withdrawal to someone else’s or another account. Fix: use the same route or agree the change with support first.
- Active bonus. Wagering not met, so the payout is blocked or the bonus will be voided. Fix: check bonus status and read about wagering.
- Timing. Requested on a Friday evening or before a holiday. Fix: patience — then ask support if the stated time is clearly exceeded.
- Extra checks. On larger sums the operator may ask about the source of funds. Fix: answer with documents, not explanations.
Should you cancel a pending withdrawal?
Many cashiers let you cancel a withdrawal before it is processed, sending the amount back to your playing balance. Technically convenient; in practice it usually ends with the money being played away. If the cancel button tempts you, consider limits and self-exclusion tools — see Responsible gambling. Cancelling and resubmitting does not speed anything up either: the new request joins the back of the queue.
Names, IBANs and partial payouts
Make sure the IBAN in the cashier matches the one in your bank app exactly and that the account is in your name; a Latvian IBAN starts with “LV”. Payouts to a third party, even a family member, are almost always rejected. If the amount exceeds the operator’s single-payout limit, it may be split into instalments — a rule in the terms, not an error.
What to send support when a payout is stuck
- The request number or ID and the exact time you filed it.
- The amount, method and current status (screenshot).
- A list of documents already submitted, with dates.
- If the money is “sent” but not received, a statement excerpt for the period.
