Free spins: from spin to payout
Free spins are a set number of spins on a specific slot at a fixed stake. They come with deposit bonuses, as stand-alone offers or as tournament prizes. The key question is not how many spins, but where the winnings land: in real money or in bonus money.
Two common models
| Model | Where winnings go | What it means for payouts |
|---|---|---|
| Spins with wagering | Bonus balance | Wagering first, payout afterwards |
| Wager-free spins | Real balance | Withdrawable like normal money, unless other conditions apply |
Which model applies to a specific offer — at Fenikss or anywhere else — is written in its terms.
What to check in the terms
- The game. Spins usually work on one or a few titles. Check the game is in the lobby and that the spins appear there.
- Spin value. Fixed; you cannot change it.
- Expiry. Unused spins vanish — sometimes within a day.
- Wagering on winnings and its deadline.
- Maximum cash-out from spin winnings, if any.
How winnings appear on your balance
After the last spin, total winnings are credited — separately if they are bonus funds. If so, wagering starts: you need to bet a set amount while respecting the maximum bet. Only then does the sum move to real money and become withdrawable. Request a payout earlier and the bonus part may be voided.
Common misunderstandings
- “My spins disappeared” — they expired or were for another game.
- “I have winnings but can’t withdraw” — they are bonus funds with wagering.
- “My winnings were cut” — a cash-out cap was applied.
Spins and game choice
If spins are tied to a particular game, read its guide and paytable first — it helps you understand how often wins land and how bonus features work. Our game guides are in Games. If spins come bundled with a deposit bonus, check whether they are counted together or separately: that decides when you can request a payout.
