Bet types: how each one settles
A bet type decides not only the potential return but also how the bet settles if a leg is voided or ends in a refund. This page is a practical guide focused on what happens to your balance. Available bet types and rules vary between operators, Fenikss included.
Single
One bet on one outcome. Return = stake × odds. If the event is voided, the stake comes back. Singles are the easiest to control: each slip is one decision with a clear risk.
Accumulator
Several selections on one slip; the odds multiply. Every leg must win. If one leg is voided, it is usually removed and the odds recalculated without it. Accumulators look attractive because of the big combined odds, but every extra leg lowers the chance of winning.
System bet
A system bet is a set of accumulators built from your selections — for example, every double from three picks. You can win something even if not every leg wins, but it costs more because each combination is a separate bet. Your balance reserves the total of all combinations.
Handicaps and totals
| Type | What you back | Possible settlement |
|---|---|---|
| European handicap | The result with a virtual head start | Win or loss, a draw is possible too |
| Asian handicap | The result with the draw removed | Win, loss, refund or half |
| Total | Over or under a line | Refund possible on whole-number lines |
Cash-out
Cash-out lets you close a bet before the event ends for an amount the operator offers. The amount goes to your playing balance. It is not a withdrawal to your bank — it only closes the bet. Money reaches your account after a withdrawal request.
How it looks on your balance
- Placed — stake reserved and unavailable.
- Settled as a win — stake plus profit credited.
- Settled as a loss — reserved stake removed.
- Void or refunded — stake returned.
- Cashed out — the offered amount credited.
