Mirror sites: why searching for a “Fenikss mirror” is risky

In the casino world a “mirror” is an alternative address that supposedly leads to the same site. Such links circulate in chats, ads and emails. The problem is simple: from the outside you cannot tell an operator’s real address from a copy that looks identical but collects your password, bank details and ID photos. This page is not a link to a mirror — it explains how to avoid landing on a fake.

How mirror phishing works

How to be sure you are on the real site

  1. Type the address yourself or use a bookmark you made when you checked the operator. Do not follow links from messages.
  2. Find the site’s terms and the company name in them.
  3. Compare it with the regulator’s licence list. If you play from Latvia, that is the list of licensed gambling organisers on vid.gov.lv (the former IAUI section). If the company is not there or the name does not match, stop.
  4. Check the bank page during a pay-by-bank payment: the address bar must show your bank’s domain.

Why bank details never go in via a message link

A pay-by-bank payment is safe only if both ends are real: the casino cashier and your bank. If the first is fake, the “bank page” it redirects to may be fake too. A real bank never asks you to enter credentials on a page you reached from a random link. In doubt, close the window, open your bank separately and check for unusual activity. How a genuine bank link works: Pay by bank.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a working Fenikss mirror?
We do not publish or recommend mirrors for any operator. Use an address you checked yourself and compare the company in the terms with the regulator’s list.
How do I recognise a fake casino site?
Check the domain in the address bar, the company name in the terms and whether it appears on the regulator’s licence list. Fakes often arrive via message links and promise “exclusive” bonuses.
I entered bank details on a fake page — what now?
Call your bank straight away, block access and change your passwords. Keep the page address and screenshots.
Why don’t your buttons lead to Fenikss?
We are an independent project and our buttons lead to a partner casino, which is a different operator. We say so openly in our affiliate disclosure.
